Family Day and My Final Check Ride

Last night was one of the best night here at Fort Rucker. I got to take my beautiful wife out to the airfield and show her the best helicopter in the US Army fleet! Also, I took my final check ride of flight school! So you are looking at one of the newest black hawk pilots. However, I don't get my wings until I complete survival school and one more officer school! It has been on amazing adventure. It seems like so long ago that I was climbing in to that tiny TH-67 for my nickel ride!

I can't wait to find out where you're going! You guys better let us know right away! Congrats on finally being done! To me it seems like just yesterday that you and Clint were bored out of your minds waiting to start WOCS. Taking naps in our living room to pass the time away.

I tell you living in Hawaii just gets better and better. We got to go to the last Pro Bowl in Hawaii! It was a blast! Went with two of our very good friends! What a time! Got to see Eli and Peyton Manning duel it out! It was an awesome game, it's just to bad that it will no longer be in Hawaii! It's such a shame!

Kristin's Birthday

Happy Birthday Mommy! Yummy chocolate and coffee ice cream cake We celebrated Kristin's birthday all weekend. We went down to Waikiki on Saturday to have dinner at Kristin's favorite restaurant, Duke's. On Monday we spent part of the day up in north shore enjoying the beautiful weather and spending time together. We had such a wonderful time together. It has been 6 years since we have been together on Kristin's birthday. We're hoping we wont have to wait that long for the next birthday together.
